Days ago, my windows 11 operating system crashed, I wanted to reinstall the operating system, but there’s lots of data on it, and lots of softwares installed on this computer, I didn’t want to reinstall them, because it would cost lots of time to setting them, and even some old version are not supported now. Finally, I tried to fix the windows 11, and I successed, but there’s a new problem appeard, when I restarted the computer, it always enter the Mas OS, it’s not convenient, everytime I wanted to enter windows, I need to use the ‘Option’ key after I pressed the power button.

Now I found a way to set the default startup disk on Mac, it’s very simple.

1. When pressed the power button, keep pressing the Option button on the keyboard.
2. Use left and right key move the cursor to the disk you want to starup.
3. Keep pressing Ctrl key, and then press Enter key on the keyboard.

When the computer started, the disk you selected just now would be the default startup disk.
